This album is a sandwich of sorts... the first and last tracks are studio recordings of two songs written for this CD by a former offender. The middle tracks were recorded live in prison and will allow you to experience the music of Kairos just as the inmates do during a Kairos weekend event.

Recording within a prison is normally not allowed. Yet, we were shown great favor to bring our recording equipment into the Carol Vance Unit in Sugarland, TX for Kairos walk #42.

Close your eyes as you listen and imagine that you are in the room with us. Sing along with the song leaders and residents and you will get just a taste of what it is to be a part of the Kairos prison ministry.
